Travis, a native of Tennessee, is an artist and former librarian with a rich, nomadic life story. She holds a B.A. in History from Millsaps College and an MLS from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. After 35 years as a librarian, Travis immersed herself in art through studies at the Cleveland Institute of Art, The Art Students League of New York, and the Paris American Academy. Now based in Rhinebeck, NY, she has transitioned to digital art, capturing her lifelong love for cats in a new comic book. Travis’s vibrant journey through various mediums and communities reflects her enduring creative spirit.
